Amy Clift : Speech Pathologist

Amy is a friendly and very experienced speech pathologist who has an enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents.

Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2005, Amy has worked in a variety of settings.  After graduating, she worked for Education Queensland servicing a range of primary and high schools.  Following this Amy worked for Catholic Education based in Wooloowin and working with teachers in primary schools across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.  Before establishing Play on Words Speech Pathology in the Redlands, Amy worked in private practice allowing her to work collaboratively with children and their families, and subsequently leading to many positive outcomes for her clients.

Amanda Wrigley: Speech Pathologist

Amanda is a warm, friendly and experienced speech pathologist who enjoys working with children and their families to facilitate speech and language skill development. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1985 with a Bachelor of Speech Therapy, Amanda has worked in a variety of settings in Queensland, interstate and overseas. Her work experience includes NSW Department of Health working with children of all ages, Canadian School Boards working with school-aged children, Spastic Centres of South Australia working with children with disabilities, and Queensland Health including Queensland Children Hospital’s Child Development Service. Amanda utilises a family-centred approach to her therapy interventions and embraces evidence-based practice in all aspects of the therapeutic journey for families.

Amanda Rigo: Speech Pathologist - B Speech Pathology (CPSP)

Mandy graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland in 2009. Since graduating, Amanda has worked with the Department of Education and Training and in various private practice settings, while also being at home and Mum to two wonderful boys. She is currently undertaking her Masters in Early Childhood Education. Mandy is passionate about early speech and language development, supporting and collaborating with parents and caregivers to achieve positive outcomes with therapy. She is experienced in understanding the role of oral language and literacy within the classroom environment and advocating for students to access support and intervention.

Judy Broadhurst – Speech Pathologist

Judy is an enthusiastic and very experienced speech pathologist who particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults with complex communication needs. Since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 1989, Judy has worked in a variety of settings across different states in Australia. She has provided disability services in both the Government and Private sectors. More recently, Judy has extended her learning by completing a Masters in Health Science (Speech Pathology) and spending 5 years teaching at the Central Queensland University as a senior lecturer in the speech pathology program.

Rebecca Harvey - speech pathologist

Rebecca graduated from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Rebecca’s desire to become a Speech Pathologist came from her passion of wanting to help others. She loves making others happy and helping them to achieve their goals.  Throughout clinical placements and previous work experiences Rebecca has gained experience working with clients of all ages, across many settings including schools, hospitals, residential aged care facilities and private practise.
