Judy is an enthusiastic and very experienced speech pathologist who particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults with complex communication needs. Since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 1989, Judy has worked in a variety of settings across different states in Australia. She has provided disability services in both the Government and Private sectors. More recently, Judy has extended her learning by completing a Masters in Health Science (Speech Pathology) and spending 5 years teaching at the Central Queensland University as a senior lecturer in the speech pathology program. Judy is passionate about providing evidence-based services for people with complex communication needs, behaviour of concern or mealtime difficulties. She takes a capability approach to her sessions which stresses that all people are able to communicate. She provides individual programs that help people discover their ability.
