Amy Clift : Speech Pathologist

Amy is a friendly and very experienced speech pathologist who has an enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents.

Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2005, Amy has worked in a variety of settings.  After graduating, she worked for Education Queensland servicing a range of primary and high schools.  Following this Amy worked for Catholic Education based in Wooloowin and working with teachers in primary schools across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.  Before establishing Play on Words Speech Pathology in the Redlands, Amy worked in private practice allowing her to work collaboratively with children and their families, and subsequently leading to many positive outcomes for her clients.

Amy is passionate about providing evidence based services especially in early intervention and family focussed intervention.  She has completed lots of extra specialist training over the years but it is important to note especially her skills in sign language and using the PROMPT technique.  She strives to meet the unique needs of children and adolescents creating individual programs to suit their particular difficulties.  Amy would be delighted to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s difficulties and looks forward to working with you and your family in the future.
